Recently I found this very well made, French-produced, biographical documentary aboutFrankensteinauthor Mary Shelley.
In school my professor focused primarily on her life prior to, during, and just after the writing and publication ofFrankenstein; or The Modern Prometheusand this documentary goes beyond that. It delves into her relationship with her father, step-mother, and her sisters as well as her relationship with her husband Percy Bysshe Shelley. Those interviewed in the film predominantly speak English, however, because it is French-produced a few scholars are French speakers and so there is quite a bit of subtitles.
